WELCOME
Hello Family
As you view this website, I hope you feel like I do, that I am proud to be a Descendant of Oz and Charity Bowman. On this website, you will find information in regards to our Heritage, Scholarships, Reunion registration and more.
As our family continues to gather and celebrate our biennial reunions, take pride in knowing that you and your family are helping our roots to grow deeper and our branches to spread out wider. I believe that our reunion in 2027 will be another banner year for the legacy of our family.
We are looking forward to gathering in Atlantic City, New Jersey (NJ) from July 29th – August 1st 2027, to celebrate our 24th Biennial Bowman Family Reunion. Descendants of Oz and Charity Bowman will gather in Atlantic City, NJ, in what we call “Bowmans on the Boardwalk”. Get ready A.C. the Bowmans are coming! Everything you need to know is in the “Reunion Registration” page of this website. Also, I encourage you to contact the AC Reunion Team if you are available to help “host” the Reunion event, (@ OzandCharityBowman.Reunion@ gmail.com)
Since the publication of Marianna W. Davis’s Book, “History of the Bowmans”, we have preserved our family lineage through the publication of our “Family Strand Booklets”. I encourage you to help continue our legacy by updating your Strand. Let us continue to stay connected throughout the year my attending our Family Zoom meetings, submitting & posting family news in our Quarterly Newsletters, and Facebook page, respectively.
Our key is our connectedness. Our family is a plant that we love, nurture, protect and preserve.
Always,
George Bowman
National President
